It's been a while since I've been wanting to make a change of the logo and the look of the website. So I've finally made it happened, I've got a new logo for Rose Wood Work and I've change the background to make similar to what I have on my YouTube Channel. Now I have to change everything over at YouTube and my other social media so everything kind of like looks the same.
The story behind it is very simple, this beautiful animal the Deer or Buck lives in the forest always surrounded by trees that are of course wood of different species. The magical part of the story is that when ever I'm in an environment like a forest up North in Georgia, USA where I reside a Deer is always nearby which makes it a very special moment for me. Wood has been part of my life and has been in something that I've always wanted to craft with. Since 2016 I've made it happened and I discover that that I have a talent, so for me is an amazing journey. Branding is important so this was a step up to make things better for my social media and networking. Please leave comments, I'm open to new suggestions. I hope you like it!

The Titebond Glue Caddy took me forever to finish, not because it was a difficult project is because I work full time and of top of that I'm a little sick. But I finally did complete the project, this was an easy thing to do do and fun, it will keep my glues with the flow all the time cause the are upside down. Titebond is my glue of choice but sometimes I use Gorilla Glue as well, I like to try other products. This was a scroll saw project and I've found a free pattern from Steve Good at Scrollsaw Workshop website. Well I've finally gave up on my old scroll saw and upgrade to a new Harbor Freight Scroll saw, WOW guys the difference is from day to night. I'm so glad to have made the decision to get a better saw than what I had and I'm not disappointed with some adjustments and adding good blades to this tool is absolutely amazing. I've done several projects by now and they have come out lovely, I can finally do art with wood!!! This is my first attempt to make Intarsia, it has been a wonderful experience even though is allot of work but at the end is very gratifying. It's a beginners project, I found a free template online and went for it. For this project I've used pine wood and Poplar I had to stained the Pine Wood in order to make a difference in colors since I don't have different species of wood which is what you do when you make Intarsia. I think it came out awesome, I love it!!! You can find this pattern Free Pattern ---> HERE I've have upgraded my Ryobi Mitersaw 7-1/4" for a Kobalt Slider Miter Saw 7-1/14" single Bevel which is much better cause I can cut bigger boards. So far seems very nice and I like the way it performs. This saw will do great things in the shop and I can't wait to start new projects. I've got it at the big blue box store, it was on sale so I just couldn't pass on it, the Ryobi Miter saw have serve me well for the past 2 years but I though I could do so much more with a Miter Saw that slides. The Kobalt Miter Saw is amazing, cuts nice and it has a very good accurate laser. The saw is compacted and easy to move around, I really have nothing bad to say about this little saw cause is really well made and very efficient. If you are looking for a small miter saw this is the one. |
