Ryobi One+ 18V Led Light 💡 love it! I got this puppy at the big box store, it was a mission impossible buy cause it was sold out every where at least here where I live. So after a couple of days of trying to find it, I've finally got a hold of one thanks to an employee who helped me out. So I was happy, went home and review the light. If you want to know more about this light check out the video below and if you already haven't subscribe to my channel please do so got great content for you. This is the result after a whole day figuring out how a wanted to upgrade my #workbench. I absolutely love it 🥰 the contrast of colors gave character to the shop and now it feels good to assemble projects and work all day here! Didn't do a video, right now the place is a disaster. I need to put stuff away that I don't use and live the necessary tools around so I can work comfortably. I've decided to have my little #woodshop have some contrast all pine color gets boring after a while. I love the contrast between pine and traditional cherry so I went ahead and venture with these colors with my #drillpressstand and the workbench that I’ve made like 2 years ago. I've finished them of with shellac that stuff is easy to use dries fast and makes your wood look beautiful, it looks fantastic! Despite what the Government says and what people are doing is a no brainier that if you go out in public you need to wear a mask, is just common sense. We are leaving in a very dangerous and difficult times and if we all collaborate and protect ourselves this COVID-19 will go away, is just that it takes time.
So I've manage to squeeze some time and work with my scroll saw and make this fun sign. You can find this free pattern at www.stevedgood.com. I've made 2 of them that will be display in public businesses. They were made out of birch wood and the base is made out of pine, then I've coated them with water base polyurethane, love that stuff makes your wood come to life. Over all a fun great little project to remember folks to wear their mask. So if you ever been on Instagram or YouTube as a Wood Worker you know that we sticker swap, so I've started a while back doing this and I love it. I've made stickers with Vista Print at the beginning and started swapping as soon as I got them, this year I've wanted to use my new logo for the stickers and this time I've used Sticker Mule but I've order some small ones to see how they were and I like the quality, but I can use them only for branding since they are too small for a swap. If you would like to sticker swap here with me go to my sticker swap page and we can exchange stickers and have some fun. Never the less I want to thank everyone that I have sticker swap with me mainly from Instagram. I've met lots of new Wood Workers and they make amazing things, I've already got a board to display them and I want to make a video about this so stay tuned. It was about time for me to work on a small project, this time I was in the need of a tablet stand for my iPad so what better way to do it on the Scroll Saw. For this project I choose to use Poplar Wood, I’ve use a Scroll Saw pattern from Steve Good Catalogue, this is a great place to get free patterns and practice with your Scroll Saw. The layout wasn't that difficult and it was an easy cut, this stand has 3 pieces and all you got to do is glue them down and that's it you are done. What I've liked about this particular tablet stand is that it has 3 positions that you can use while using your tablet. Watch the video on how made this project and how it works. The experience was cool, love the outcome now I can see YouTube Videos while working or if I need to do research I have my iPad on my workbench and accessible. One more thing Happy Labor day! Exciting news! We have partner up with Tee Spring for our Merh, we have T-shirts and stickers if you want to show off this cool, comfortable shirt to your friends while you are working on your own wood shop or any where you go. Visit our Merch store here.
